PLEASE NOTE: Masks will be required for all attendees to wear for the duration of time that they are on site for their class/meeting/event. We will be practicing 6ft of social distancing for attendees & instructors. Registrations are required for social distancing purposes.
This class helps prepare parents for emergencies that may occur in baby’s first year. Along with car seat safety and basic baby proofing, discussion will include prevention and treatment of common injuries.
Students will also learn and practice the skills necessary to perform infant CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), as well as the skills necessary to assist a choking infant. The American Heart Association Family & Friends “Infant CPR and Choking” (birth to one year) course is for those who want to learn Infant CPR but do NOT need a course completion card in CPR for their job.
Grandparents and other caregivers are welcome to attend.

- Car seat installation-by appointment with the Car Seat Safety Station. Car seat must be provided. Voucher for install will be given at the end of class.
