A Guide to Meditation

Join us for an event where you’ll learn different methods and how you can experience the most benefit through meditation. This talk will also include a meditation practice at the end.
Meditation is not a way of making your mind quiet, it is a way of entering into the quiet that is already there. Practicing meditation can help you to reduce stress, enhance creativity, discover mindfulness, increase breath and body awareness, create inner peace and connect to your inner self, improve relationships and awaken your intuition.
Instructor Schauntelle Puliti, has been a nurse at Renown for 15 years who loves working with people and practicing mindfulness. Learn how even short periods of meditation can bring a sense of calm and peace.
