Virtual – Baby Safe Class
This class helps prepare parents for emergencies that may occur in baby’s first year. Along with car seat safety and basic baby proofing, discussion will include prevention and treatment of common injuries. Each participate of the class will receive an Infant CPR Anytime kit.
Students will also learn and practice the skills necessary to perform infant CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), as well as the skills necessary to assist a choking infant. The American Heart Association Family & Friends “Infant CPR and Choking” (birth to one year) course is for those who want to learn Infant CPR but do not need a course completion card in CPR for their job.
Grandparents and other caregivers are welcome to attend.

Car seat installation by appointment with the Car Seat Safety Station. Car seats must be brought along for the appointment, and a voucher for install will be emailed to attendees. To schedule your visit, please call: 775-982-2620
The cost of this class is $55 and is for up to 2 people (one person or one couple) and an Infant CPR anytime kit that will be shipped to each participate. A $15.00 dollar fee will be non-refundable to cover the cost of the kit and shipping.
Please Note: Class time does not allow to repeat steps for more than 2 people. Any additional people in your group will need to sign up and purchase their own kit.
This virtual class is instructor led using MS Teams. The kit includes a DVD, 1 inflatable Mini Baby personal CPR mannequin, a CPR reminder card, a replacement mannequin lung, 2 mannequin wipes, and instructions for use.
