Relax & Release: Mellow Yoga, Meditation & Tapping
Mar 20, 2019 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, repeating until Dec 26, 2019
Join Priya for a mellow yoga class with music and a fun beat to help us release trapped stress, emotions, and anxiety in both the body and the mind. Incorporating use of breathwork, emotional freedom techniques (tapping), and meditation, we will clear pathways and patterns to invite new ways of thinking, being, and living. Welcome to all levels and those who wish to relax, de-stress, and create more freedom in the body and brain.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Priya has been teaching and practicing devotional and Kundalini yoga for over 14 years. She earned her first Bhakti based 200 Hour RYT from Wild Lotus Yoga in New Orleans, then earned a second 200 HR RYT in Kundalini from Yoga, Yoga in Austin, Texas. Her teaching and coaching style is to blend a music filled hatha based vinyasa practice with breath work, emotional release techniques, heart-opening work, mantra, and deep intention for a fully integrated and transformational practice. Priya also incorporates the vedic sciences into her teachings, including Ayurveda and Jyotish, which work together with catalyzing the wellspring organ of all self-healing–the heart. She focuses on creating practices that suit individual students’ needs while creating safe space for collective group healing. When not practicing the eastern healing arts, she works as an energy engineer and loves to spend time in nature with her 3 sweet puppies. She honors her teachers and lineages, Sean Johnson, Mitchel Bleier, Mehtab Benton, Siri Bahadur Khalsa, Neem Karoli Baba, and Yogi Bhajan.
