What is Tai Ji Quan?
Tai Ji Quan is an evidence-based fall prevention program.

This is an online class, hosted via Zoom teleconference. The class teaches eight Yang-style Tai Chi forms, modified to improve balance and strength among older adults, and is led by a certified instructor.

Benefits of Tai Ji Quan include:

  • Increased lower-body strength
  • Increased balance, flexibility & mobility
  • Mindful control of body positioning in space
  • Reduced risk of falls
  • Increased range of motion around ankle joints
  • Decreased anxiety and depression

Now scheduled for early 2021:
Classes are held three times per week
When: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, Jan. 26 to May 18 from noon to 1 p.m.
Where: It’s online! The workshop will be given via Zoom videoconference. No need to leave your home.
