SUMMARY:Safe Sitter® Essentials and CPR
DESCRIPTION:Safe Sitter® is designed to prepare students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they’re home alone\, watching younger siblings\, or babysitting. The instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises. \nStudents will learn safety skill\, childcare skills\, first aid and rescue skills\, life and business skills\, and CPR. Each participant will receive a handbook and a certificate of completion\, not a traditional CPR card. \nSafe Sitter® is designed as an independent learning experience for students to build confidence and decision-making skills. For this reason\, parent/guardian participation or observation is not permitted during class time\, as it can impact student engagement and group learning.
