DESCRIPTION:Facilitated by a prostate cancer survivor\, this no-cost support group is designed to help men cope with prostate cancer by offering education and support for patients during their cancer journey. \nDetails: \n\nBoth in-person and virtual groups are available. \nVideo-enabled attendance is available for all attendees. \nPatients can access remotely and join from any video-enabled device (smartphone\, iPad\, laptop\, or webcam/desktop). \nUpon registering\, you will receive instructions on how to connect virtually. \nGroups will be held every first and third Monday of each month\, from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. in the Sierra Tower – Conference Room 103 at Renown Regional Hospital. \n\nPlease note: You can renew registrations every calendar year. DESCRIPTION:Renown Institute for Cancer offers one-hour weekly classes to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients and their families. These insightful classes are facilitated by oncology nurse navigators\, social workers and surgical nurses. \nIn this class\, you will: \n• Meet your navigator and learn about cancer support services available to you\n• Hear about pre-surgery instructions and your pre-admit appointment\n• Receive education in rehabilitation and lymphedema\n• Have your questions answered about treatment\, including chemotherapy\, biotherapy\, immunotherapy\, radiation therapy and clinical trials \nVideo-enabled attendance is available.
