Additionally\, we’ll cover tummy time\, comfort and soothing techniques\, how to keep your baby safe\, newborn screenings and vaccinations. \nWeek 7: You will learn breastfeeding benefits and techniques\, the physiology of making milk\, positioning and latch\, how to know baby is getting enough milk\, keeping up your milk supply\, where to go for help\, and learn about our lactation consultants and breastfeeding forums. DESCRIPTION:Ticket includes partner. \nThe Spinning Babies Parent Class is designed for expecting moms after the 20th week of pregnancy. This class highlights rotating the baby down and out of the pelvis. \nTurning (spinning) is referred to as fetal rotation and descent. During labor\, the baby must rotate and descend through the three levels of the pelvis to be born. These insightful classes are facilitated by oncology nurse navigators\, social workers and surgical nurses. \nIn this class\, you will: \n• Meet your navigator and learn about cancer support services available to you\n• Hear about pre-surgery instructions and your pre-admit appointment\n• Receive education in rehabilitation and lymphedema\n• Have your questions answered about treatment\, including chemotherapy\, biotherapy\, immunotherapy\, radiation therapy and clinical trials \nVideo-enabled attendance is available. Patients can access remotely and join from any video-enabled device (smartphone\, iPad\, laptop or webcam/desktop). Upon registering\, you will receive instructions on how to connect virtually.
