DESCRIPTION:Ticket includes partner. \nThe Spinning Babies® Parent Class is designed for expecting moms after the 20th week of pregnancy. This class highlights rotating the baby down and out of the pelvis. \nTurning (spinning) is referred to as fetal rotation and descent. During labor\, the baby must rotate and descend through the three levels of the pelvis to be born. DESCRIPTION:Ticket includes partner. \nThis class helps prepare parents for emergencies that may occur with infants and toddlers. Along with car seat safety and basic child proofing\, discussion will include prevention and treatment of common injuries. \nStudents will also learn and practice the skills necessary to perform infant and child CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)\, as well as the skills necessary to assist a choking infant and child. The American Heart Association Family & Friends “Infant and Child CPR and Choking” course is for those who want to learn Infant and child CPR but do not need a course completion card in CPR for their job. \nGrandparents and other caregivers are welcome to attend. \nThis class is geared towards infants and toddlers and includes both Infant and Child CPR. \nThis class covers the following topics: \n\nCar seat safety education\nSafe sleep\nChild proofing your home\nBasic first aid\nInfant and Child CPR & Choking\n\nPlease note: There is a waiting list for this class.
