DESCRIPTION:Ticket includes partner. \nThe Spinning Babies® Parent Class is designed for expecting moms after the 20th week of pregnancy. This class highlights rotating the baby down and out of the pelvis. \nTurning (spinning) is referred to as fetal rotation and descent. During labor\, the baby must rotate and descend through the three levels of the pelvis to be born. You’ll learn the many facets of delivery\, with the opportunity to ask questions\, helping you make informed decisions about critical issues surrounding your baby’s birth. \nTopics include: \n\nHealthy developments in your pregnancy\nStages of labor\nWarning signs\nBreathing and relaxation techniques\nComfort measures\nRole of the support person and labor support\nBirth planning\nHow to tell when you are in labor\nPain relief options during labor/medical procedures\nHow a birth doula can help\nCesarean birth and Postpartum\n\nOur certified instructors will offer you support and guidance through education uniquely to meet your individual needs.\nWe believe that childbirth is a process\, not a method\, and we recognize that there is no one right way to give birth. \nTo attend\, please register using the expecting mother’s name and information. \nClass invites will be sent out the day before the meeting to the email you provide.  \n* Note: This class will not include a Baby and Family Suites Tour. We recommend that all first-time parents take this in-depth class to help mothers get off to a better start with breastfeeding. \nTopics include the benefits of breastfeeding\, breast anatomy\, feeding cues\, establishing a good latch\, nursing positions\, ways for partners to support and be involved in breastfeeding\, breast pumping and breast milk storage\, breastfeeding tips and available breastfeeding supplies and resources.
