DESCRIPTION:Ticket includes partner. \nThis class helps prepare parents for emergencies that may occur with infants and toddlers. Along with car seat safety and basic child proofing\, discussion will include prevention and treatment of common injuries. \nStudents will also learn and practice the skills necessary to perform infant and child CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)\, as well as the skills necessary to assist a choking infant and child. DESCRIPTION:Ticket includes partner. \nThe Spinning Babies® Parent Class is designed for expecting moms after the 20th week of pregnancy. This class highlights rotating the baby down and out of the pelvis. \nTurning (spinning) is referred to as fetal rotation and descent. During labor\, the baby must rotate and descend through the three levels of the pelvis to be born. DESCRIPTION:Renown Institute for Cancer offers one-hour weekly classes to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients and their families. These insightful classes are facilitated by oncology nurse navigators\, social workers\, and surgical nurses. \nIn this class\, you will: \n• Meet your navigator and learn about cancer support services available to you\n• Hear about pre-surgery instructions and your pre-admit appointment\n• Receive education in rehabilitation and lymphedema\n• Have your questions answered about treatment\, including chemotherapy\, biotherapy\, immunotherapy\, radiation therapy and clinical trials \nNote: 18y+ only. This class is not suitable for minors. Childcare is not provided. \nVideo-enabled attendance is available. DESCRIPTION:This 4-week childbirth preparation meets for 4 consecutive weeks. This class helps prepare mom and her partner for the many aspects of childbirth and beyond. In addition\, this class provides a safe forum to ask questions and help you make informed decisions about key issues surrounding your baby’s birth. \nThis class will include topics such as: \n\nHealthy developments in your pregnancy\nStages of labor\nWarning signs\nBreathing and relaxation techniques\nComfort measures\nRole of the support person and labor support\nBirth planning\nHow to tell when you are in labor\nPain relief options during labor/medical procedures\nHow a birth doula can help\nCesarean birth\nLabor and Delivery Tour\n\nOur certified instructors offer you support and guidance via education in a unique way that will meet your individual needs. \nWe believe that childbirth is a process\, not a method\, and we recognize that there is no one right way to give birth. \nPlease register using the expecting mother’s name and information.  \nPlease note: There is a waiting list for this class.
