DESCRIPTION:Ticket includes partner. \nThe Spinning Babies® Parent Class is designed for expecting moms after the 20th week of pregnancy. This class highlights rotating the baby down and out of the pelvis. \nTurning (spinning) is referred to as fetal rotation and descent. During labor\, the baby must rotate and descend through the three levels of the pelvis to be born. SUMMARY:Lymphedema Education and Risk Reduction Class
DESCRIPTION:This class is for anyone who has undergone or is undergoing breast cancer treatment and will focus on lymphedema education and reducing the risk of its occurrence. \nDuring the class\, we will review the basic anatomy of the lymphatic system and define common procedures performed during the treatment course for breast cancer that affects lymphatics. Risk reduction strategies\, including compression sleeves\, will be reviewed in addition to the typical presentation of early lymphedema. \nFinally\, a brief description of Axillary Web Syndrome will also be reviewed\, and basic stretches/exercises to implement if cording is present.

These insightful classes are facilitated by oncology nurse navigators\, social workers\, and surgical nurses. \nIn this class\, you will: \n• Meet your navigator and learn about cancer support services available to you\n• Hear about pre-surgery instructions and your pre-admit appointment\n• Receive education in rehabilitation and lymphedema\n• Have your questions answered about treatment\, including chemotherapy\, biotherapy\, immunotherapy\, radiation therapy and clinical trials \nNote: 18y+ only.
