These insightful classes are facilitated by oncology nurse navigators\, social workers\, and surgical nurses. \nIn this class\, you will: \n• Meet your navigator and learn about cancer support services available to you\n• Hear about pre-surgery instructions and your pre-admit appointment\n• Receive education in rehabilitation and lymphedema\n• Have your questions answered about treatment\, including chemotherapy\, biotherapy\, immunotherapy\, radiation therapy and clinical trials \nNote: 18y+ only. Along with car seat safety and basic child proofing\, discussion will include prevention and treatment of common injuries. \nStudents will also learn and practice the skills necessary to perform infant and child CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)\, as well as the skills necessary to assist a choking infant and child. DESCRIPTION:Ticket includes partner. \nThe Spinning Babies® Parent Class is designed for expecting moms after the 20th week of pregnancy. This class highlights rotating the baby down and out of the pelvis. \nTurning (spinning) is referred to as fetal rotation and descent. During labor\, the baby must rotate and descend through the three levels of the pelvis to be born.
