Nursing Grand Rounds – Practical Tools for Therapeutic Presence in Clinical Practice

Nursing Grand Rounds, presented by Renown Health and the Orvis School of Nursing at the University of Nevada, Reno, kicks off this summer with a two-part series designed to support nurses in managing the emotional and sensory demands of trauma-informed care.

Session one will be led by Adi Cabral, Department Chair of Theatre and Dance at the University, and will explore techniques to help nurses delineate boundaries between work and personal life. Attendees will walk away with practical tools to regulate their nervous system at work. This session is CEU-eligible and is open to all nurses, nursing students and faculty, with an in-person and virtual option available.
