This 2.5 hour class offers a fast-paced overview of labor, birth and the early postpartum period. We will briefly cover signs of labor, stages & phases of birth, comfort and pain relief options, medical procedures, cesarean birth basics, and what to expect immediately after birth.

Because this is a condensed overview, topic are presented at a higher level and move quickly through the essentials. Families looking for more in-depth preparation may prefer our Preparing for Birth: 4 week series or our Preparing for Birth: 1 Day Class.
