Preparing for Birth: 1 Day Class
Ticket includes the pregnant person and one support person.
This comprehensive, single – day course is designed for busy parents who want to feel confident and well – informed about the childbirth experience.
Led by certified instructors, this course offers support and guidance tailored to your unique needs. you’ll gain the knowledge and tools needed to make informed decisions and navigate labor and delivery with confidence.
What you’ll learn:
- Anatomy in pregnancy
- Warning signs to watch for
- Stages and phases of labor
- Comfort measures during labor
- The role of your support person
- Pain relief options and medical procedures
- Cesarean birth
- Postpartum care at the hospital
Our Philosophy:
WE believe childbirth is a process, not a method. There is no one “right” way to give birth. Our goal is to support you in whatever birth experience is right for you.
Registration Info:
- Please register using the pregnant person’s name and information
- 1 ticket = pregnant person + 1 partner
To attend, please register using the expecting mother’s name and information.
Please bring the following to the class:
- 65-75 cm exercise/yoga ball ALREADY INFLATED
- 2-bed pillows
- A mat or towel for breathing and relaxation practice
