This 2.5 hour class offers a fast-paced overview of labor, birth and the early postpartum period. We will briefly cover signs of labor, stages & phases of birth, comfort and pain relief options, medical procedures, cesarean birth basics, and what to expect immediately after birth.

Please note: This is a fast-paced, high-level overview of essential topics. If you’re looking for more detailed preparation, we recommend our Preparing for Birth: 4-week series or One Day class. For hands-on coping techniques, consider adding our Birth Support and Relaxation Strategies class.
